Type: Multiplayer Arena

Competition is ingrained into the human psyche, and nowhere is it more prevalent than in the games we play.

From the real world matches of Cricket and Football, to the digital MOBA arenas or bevy of FPS games out there, humans have shown their willingness to compete when it comes to playing games.

This arena ball game is designed for a variable number of players in which the aim of the game is to launch the ball into the opposing teams goal. Of course when you need to be responsive to catch or pick up the ball, and you have the capability to jettison a blast at your opponent to knock them off their feet, it makes things a little more interesting.

The concept was to create a arena based game similar to “Handball” but adding in an element of physicality similar to the “Tackle” of American Football.

Benefit to Land owners

While the early investors of Earth2 are currently sitting at a pretty good position, this will not always be the case.

The involvement of a major gaming company dipping it’s figurative toes into the metaverse waters lends credibility to virtual worlds as a whole and if other gaming companies determine there is money to be made in the metaverse, they will find their way into Earth2.

While the involvement of a major game brand will draw a huge influx of new players to the platform, it will require something more to pull them away from the names they currently know and trust for entertainment. Sure they may show up to your properties for sight-seeing, but having attractions available will be key to returning visitations.

What better way to hook visitors than with competitive e-sporting events.

Limited Availability

Not to put too fine a point on it, we are a small indie game company. From a business end, it would make sense for us to put this game into the hands of as many land owners as possible in order to maximize our gains.

However, this would not be beneficial to land owners, nor would it make sense for megacities to have dozens of arenas built within their borders.

As such, we are limiting the presale and release of this project to a maximum number of 36 installations including our own.

This number should give most of the groups or guilds within Earth2 an opportunity to obtain at least one arena within the city of their choice, and can opt to procure additional arenas for placement within other megacities.

~ FAQ ~

Q) If I purchase an NFT does that mean I will get the coding of the game?
A) Purchasers of the NFT does not get the coding to the game. We (Amucity) will work with your builders to implement the scripting or coding to make the game playable on the NFT holders land tiles. NFT owners will NOT have the rights to replicate the scripting or coding. They will however have the option to sell the property (along with the building upon it if possible per Earth2.io functionality) to a new owner.

Q) Will you cover the costs of resources to implement the coding if required?
A) Any costs required to implement the coding are those of the NFT holders. This includes resources, land tiles, or any other unspecified expenditure. Having possession of the NFT will cover the following: Cost of the coding itself, labor required for installation. Anything beyond that will be the sole responsibility of the NFT holder.

Q) What if Earth2 does not allow for player created mini-games?
A) Excellent question. All signs are pointing toward having player generated content within the platform, along with the fact that other metaverse platforms, such as Decentraland, and the upcoming My Neighbor Alice either have, or will have that capability, it’s a safe assumption that Earth2 will as well.

Q) Can I resell the NFT?
A) Absolutely. The NFT is yours to do with as you see fit. However, the redemption of the code implementation is only available once. If this is redeemed, the only value the NFT has at that time would be as an NFT.

Q) I want to sell my plot that has the arena on it, can we move it to another location?
A) Unfortunately at this time, we are in the dark in regards to how buildings will function. We will go on record currently and say you will need to include the arena / script in with the sale of the property if you choose to do so. On the bright side, that should increase the land value.

Q) What is to stop another game developer from making something similar?
A) Absolutely nothing.  The questions are: How will they distribute it, and what benefit will owners have?  If they mass produce the product, it loses the allure of being something worth visiting. If every property that could fit an arena could have one, why would anyone want to come visit one over another. This is another reason why we are limiting the amount installations available.  As for benefits to owners, it’s still early in the process, and we aren’t sure how we are going to be able to promote, monetize, or utilize attractions in Phase 3. Rest assured that this project will be the basis on which we develop all possible future projects within the Earth2 platform, meaning that if we figure out a way to add value to any project within Earth 2, this project will be the first in line for owners to be able to opt for those features.

Terms & Conditions aka “The Fine Print”

The purchase of the NFT creates an agreement between the owner of the NFT (hereby referred to as the buyer) and Amucity (hereby referred to as the seller). The agreement is as such. The seller (Amucity) will implement the game functionality and scripting (hereby referred to as The Game) upon land tiles owned and specified by the buyer within the Earth2.io platform.

Each NFT will have a unique code contained within. These codes will be used for tracking the redemption of The Game implementation within the Earth2.io platform.

Verification of NFT ownership will be required at time of redemption of The Game.

The NFT can be resold by the buyer. At the time of resale, the original buyer is no longer held to the rules of this agreement, and loses all claim to any unused implementations of The Game. Also at the time of resale, the new buyer becomes bound by the rules and limitations of this agreement.

It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to initiate the redemption process to have The Game implemented. This can be accomplished by reaching out to Amucity Games through commons means of social media or communication (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Discord) or through an email, the address can be found on the seller’s website (Amucity.com)

In the event that packaging and duplicating a building & attached scripting is possible within the Earth2.io platform, the buyer agrees to not package and resell the scripting of The Game. Failure to abide by this clause will result in forgoing any updates, bug fixes and any other future benefits as designed or introduced by the seller (Amucity) and possible punitive action.

It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to provide the land tiles in which The Game will be implemented.

It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to provide any resources required for the implementation of The Game and for the construction of the game arena. In the event the buyer cannot provide the resources, the seller (Amucity) upon their discretion can provide those resources for compensation at fair market value, to be agreed upon at the time of redemption.

If the buyer has their own builder for the arena, the seller will work with the builder to implement The Game.

If the buyer does not have their own builder, the seller (Amucity) can provide this service for a rate to be negotiated prior to the installation of The Game.

The seller (Amucity) will address any bugs or flaws in The Game within a timely manner upon discovery or them being reported. The seller (Amucity) will keep a record of updates available on their website, along with a means to contact them to schedule patches to correct the functionality of The Game.

The seller (Amucity) cannot be held liable for any limitations of functionality of the Earth2.io platform. In the event that the Earth2.io platform does not allow for user generated custom minigame creation, or limits the functionality of user generated custom minigames that would make The Game impossible to implement, this agreement becomes null and void up until such time that the functionality is implemented within the Earth2.io platform.

The seller (Amucity)cannot be held responsible or liable for any losses in the event that the Earth2.io platform fails to thrive and ceases operation.

The seller (Amucity) cannot be held responsible or liable for the loss, theft, or inability to access to any account or crypto wallet preventing the buyer from interacting with, confirming ownership of, or utilizing the NFT in any way.

It is the agreement that the seller (Amucity) will make implementing The Game a priority once the functionality is in place on the Earth2.io platform. Given that at the time of this writing we do not know how this will look or function, a timeframe of 6 – 8 weeks after the capability becomes available is required to structure and test the performance of The Game. While the seller (Amucity) will strive to implement prior to this timeframe, it is understood that it may take this amount of time or longer to recreate the functionality within the new platform.

While the seller (Amucity) will make every effort to address any concerns of the buyers, in the event that either the seller or buyer brings against any proceeding arising out of this agreement either party may bring that proceeding into any courts within the area of Dekalb County, Illinois, within the United States.

Limitations on damages in regards to this agreement will be set at a maximum of $250.00 USD excluding the event of unauthorized duplication of The Game scripting and functionality.

These terms and conditions can be modified at any time by the seller. The most up to date version will always be found here on this website.
